Project Overview

Green Volunteer is a templates collection I designed for Freepik, inspired by an awareness and recruitment campaign for an environmental volunteer program. The visual system is adapted across various digital platforms – mobile interfaces, desktop, and video – with the goal of engaging the younger community in concrete actions for ecological change. The overall look and feel is fresh, minimal, and friendly, aiming to convey a sense of optimism and collective responsibility.

The templates, designed to be easily customizable, are available in editable formats for Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. You can download them on Freepik.com at the following link: https://www.freepik.com/serie/236363930

Objectives

The main objective of the project is to raise awareness and encourage active participation in environmental volunteer initiatives. Through a clear, engaging, and visually cohesive design system, the collection aims to inspire a younger audience to take part in meaningful ecological actions and become agents of positive change.

Concept

The concept revolves around the themes of civic engagement and ecological transition. The project’s key words are participation and sustainability, understood as drivers of collective change. The stylistic approach is designed to communicate in a direct and effective way, through an essential, accessible, and immediate visual language. The tone of voice is motivational, while the look and feel is defined by a minimalist and optimistic aesthetic, enriched with a pop touch that brings freshness, energy, and a contemporary edge to the project.

Design

The design of the collection blends functionality with visual storytelling to guide the user toward action.

A minimal color palette—dominated by black and white with neon green accents—serves as a distinctive element that reinforces the collection’s message.

Linear vector illustrations, enriched with subtle neon highlights, give the project a clean and essential identity.

The use of a sans-serif typeface, DM Sans (available on Google Fonts), ensures clarity and readability while maintaining a strong visual hierarchy thanks to its geometric structure.

The interface is user-friendly, featuring clearly highlighted calls to action and a responsive layout optimized for multiple platforms.
